Arriving at Colombo, the capital of the island, also called “The Pearl of the Indian Ocean”, pick up at the airport.

We will go across the tropical nature, across the green rice fields, the cinnamon and pineapple plantations to Kitulgala, it will be an extraordinary experience and easy refreshment after arrival.

We will discover a beautiful place hidden in the middle of dense vegetation. The village Kitulgala with a traditional lifestyle of villagers attracts tourists and photographic enthusiasts for an interesting river Kelani Ganga. The green rainforest is situated in an endless land. The famous movie The Bridge on the River Kwai was filmed on the river Kelani near Kitulgala and although nothing remains except for the concrete foundations, the site is the base for White Water Rafting. (it can be purchased on-site at the guide)

The place is also known as a site of relics of prehistoric human presence 32,000 years ago.

We will see the beautiful wild Devon Falls and St Clairs Falls.

Nuwara Eliya – also called Little England, is one of the most sought tourist areas in Sri Lanka. The variety of nature, mountain valleys, waterfalls, tea plantations, Victoria Park and the English influence give this place a unique charm. City tour.

NP Horton Plains - Tea Plantation - Royal City Kandy - Dance Performance in Kandy

Horton Plains National Park is one of the most visited places in Sri Lanka. You will see red rhododendrons, trees stunted by wind and fog, covered with moss and many other types of flowers during a beautiful walk. The small end of the world and the Great end of the world offer beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

Tea plantations where original Ceylon tea is grown, a tea factory, picturesque tea landscape scenery, mountain massifs and an unmistakable tea scent.

We will enjoy a cultural performance by dancers from Kandy in the evening.

Botanical Garden - Kandy - Temple of Buddha’s Tooth - Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala

Royal Botanic Garden Peradeniya – is situated on 147 acres of land. The Botanical Garden was built in 1374 as a relaxing garden of the kings from Gampola and Kandy. You can see here more than 4000 species of trees, flowers, plants and five palm streets that were planted in 1905.

Kandy – tour around the lake, marketplace and Temple of Buddha’s tooth. Kandy is UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is located in the picturesque mountainous region of Sri Lanka, surrounded mainly by tea plantations. The city is one of the most sacred places in Sri Lanka and was the last capital of Sinhalese kings. The Temple of Buddha’s Tooth retains a relic, it is a prominent Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka.

An elephant orphanage in Pinnawala on the banks of the River Ma Oya will be a special experience. There are more than 70 adorable elephants playing together in the river.

Sigiriya with Royal Palace at the Top - Royal City Polonnaruwa

Visit to the rock formation of Lion Rock – Sigiriya (UNESCO) with the ruins of the royal palace at the top is the most attractive experience for all tourists coming to Sri Lanka. The fortress in the clouds was built in the 5th century and you can see amazing frescoes on the walls of ancient caves during the way to the top. There is a complex of gardens, water reservoirs and fountains at the foot of the hill.

Tour of the famous city Polonnaruwa, the former second capital of Sri Lanka famous for temples and palaces, it was built in the 11th and 12th centuries and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1982. We can find the ruins of the royal palace, the royal bath, the citadel and the world-famous Buddha statues carved into the rocks in the Gal Vihara shrine here.

Royal City Anuradhapura - Mihintale

The oldest capital Anuradhapura (UNESCO) was the capital of the Sinhalese kings for 1400 years. The glory of this ancient city began in the 4th century BC. The most beautiful temple in the country is Temple of Ruwanwelisaya that is 103 meters high and it is really majestic and gorgeous. We will walk under the tree of Sri Maha Bodhiya, the most sacred tree of Buddhism, it comes from the original tree where Buddha attained enlightenment.

We will visit Mihintale – the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka.

Overnight in Sigiriya.

Dambulla

We will visit Dambulla, a cave Buddhist temple (UNESCO) with beautiful sculptures and ceiling paintings. You will find more than a hundred Buddha statues in different poses in the cave temple. Wall paintings with Buddhist motifs are also unique.

Transfer to the beach hotel, stay on the beach.
